Overseas Projects


DRIVE will be going to Samoa with University students for 11 days at the end of this year to help out at local schools with education programs and renovations in the village of Poutasi.


February 2014

A recent project in the Philippines involved building a child care centre as well as several footpaths and sanitary facilities for a school. We also taught computer skills at the local high school and a health promotion course for young mothers.


July 2013

Santiago and Viña del Mar, Chile

N.Z. Volunteers worked with local volunteers to provide diversional therapy and psychosocial support to patients of the Policlínico El Salto. They also taught basic English and business skills to vocational training students from the Colegio Los Alerces. 


January 2012

Muntinlupa, Metro Manila 

Volunteers provided training in Emergency and Basic First Aid to several hundred high school student as well as community social workers. 


January 2011

Kishangarh and Shahpurjat, Delhi, India

Volunteers worked on the development of educational infrastructure and provided skills training to local beneficiaries so they could produce items for sale and increase their income.
