About the Programme
The programme aims to equip

skills to help them draw a sense of direction in their
lives, discover a sense of purpose and
to develop their abilities so that they can
give their personal best within their school, home and wider community. The program provides an environment free from social pressure, where participants can develop lasting friendships.
The monthly sessions are comprised of:
- interactive presentations
- engaging discussions
- team activities
- impact projects
- individual mentoring
SHE LEADS INVOLVES
MENTORING
While ideas can be inspiring and uplifting, life is played out in the personal and in the particular. SHE Leads seeks to engage each student where she is in life; for this reason, mentoring is the most important aspect of the program. With her mentor, each student applies what she learned during the monthly sessions to her own circumstances, formulating goals and navigating the challenges she encounters. The mentors are volunteer professional women and university students that are committed to meet with their mentees at least once a month, and gladly make themselves available outside programme hours.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
As a way of giving back to the community and putting into practice the skills learned, each participant is encouraged to do 15hrs of volunteering.
Fernhall offers volunteering opportunities
such as visiting the elderly, organising holiday programmes for underprivileged and refugee children, cooking for the homeless and other local and overseas service projects.
WORKSHOP
SHE Leads offers cultural seminars, discussion forums, hands-on and intellectually stimulating activities,
as well as interactive career and skill development presentations aimed at character and leadership development.

FOR
Parents
What WE want for your daughter,
is what YOU want for her first.
SHE Leads and its mentors aim to collaborate and accompany parents throughout their daughter's journey. Recognising parents are a child's primary educator, we simply aim to support you with what you think your daughter needs. By communicating regularly, we can hear directly from you about how your daughter is going and cater their mentoring and the activities to their needs.
